About the Solar Farm In Jefferson County
OYA Renewables finished development and sold this solar farm to Nextera. Located in Jefferson County, this solar farm is part of a collection of three adjacent solar farms of around 7.6 MWDC each including Blanchard Road CDG and Blanchard Road II CDG. As a community solar project, the local community can benefit from the project through savings on electricity and tax revenue.
The land is leased from a local landowner who is now receiving annual lease payments until the end of the project.

2019
OYA plans site along with the landowner and the local authorities, and completes permitting and environmental surveys.

The solar farm is constructed, adding local jobs and is connected to the grid.
