About the Solar Farm In Jefferson County
OYA Renewables is currently constructing this solar farm. Located in Jefferson County, this solar farm has several nearby solar farms, including Great Lakes Seaway CDG, Blanchard Road CDG, and Blanchard Road II CDG. As a community solar project, the local community can sign up and reduce their electricity bill by up to 10%. The solar farm also provides tax revenue and supports the local economy.
The land is leased from a local landowner who will soon receive annual lease payments until the end of the project.
