About the Solar Farm In Oswego County
OYA Renewables has started development on this solar farm located near the town of Richland, Oswego County, New York, and on land leased from a local landowner. There are several other projects in the area also under construction, including Richland South. Once this solar farm is active the landowner will receive payments for the next 25 years from the solar lease.
The local community benefits from saving on electricity, tax revenue, local jobs and the clean energy generated (6.122 MWDC) by the project and sent directly to the grid for distribution.
